Aluminum Gazebo As a Patio Accessory!

There are many ways to improve your home but one of the most effective and easy ways to do so is to improve your patio. Improving ones patio can make a dramatic change to your home. Creating an enjoyable leisure area in your patio can go as far as increasing the size of your home at least in useable space and give you that sense of satisfaction and pride when a space created by you is available to enjoy.

One of the first ports of call for patio improvement comes in the shape of shelter. One that provides shelter from both the sun and rain. A main focal point to the area and this is where the introduction of an aluminum gazebo can be quality starting point.

There are a number of benefits that an aluminium gazebo can bring to the table that are worth highlighting in regards to investment, quality and usability.

There are endless different designs when it comes to these products. They are available in different sizes, dimensions, colours and style so finding one that suits your requirements should be easy. You can really create whatever feel and atmosphere you are looking for whether that's a beach/summer feel, one of class and ambiance or to create an everyday comfortable space to be enjoyed by the family.

The extra living space that an aluminium gazebo can create can be transforming as far as home improvement goes. It can be almost like building an extension to your house when creating your patio and many find it quite liberating enjoying the extra space.

The incorporation one of these patio structures can increase the use the patio and garden area gets as this is a shelter from most of the elements. Harsh rays from the sun can interrupt a day of outdoor leisure but when shelter is available the day can be enjoyed for its full duration. This equally goes towards toward rain. Everyone has had a barbeque interrupted by rain fall which really puts a dampener on proceeding! This will allow you to host a garden dinner party or serve food uninterrupted by light rain or drizzle allowing the event to continue.

Well designed aluminium gazebos are generally quality products. They are designed to be very user friendly and functional. They can be put up and taken down sometimes in seconds. All their moving parts are easy to adjust and manipulate for the users convenience. This means that they are easily moved to different positions or even packed away neatly if you would like to use the space for something else. They can be put up and taken down for special occasions and if you buy quality they will provide fantastic use long into the future.

Finally to add to the previous point the fact that they are user-friendly and made from aluminium means that they are also very portable. Many aluminium gazebos come with their own carrier bag and can be easily folded and transported. Take it to the park, the beach or a local event or festival. Many like to use it as outdoor vending shop fronts at their local market or a business trade fair.

How to Build a Gazebo - The Essential Plan to Get it Just Right

A gazebo is a stunning addition to any garden, and is a wonderful place for quiet reflection, reading or just chilling out. Some people build their gazebos around their hot tubs or spas. Use it to party or just read a book. Whatever you use it for, your gazebo will quickly become the centerpiece of your garden.

The key to any gazebo construction is precision - good, seasoned wood measured and cut accurately. Any flaws will be obvious in the finished product, and will give the final structure a very crude appearance. It is most important to use detailed blueprints and follow them rigorously.

There are a great many designs to consider, but a popular choice is the traditional octagonal gazebo, which is perhaps the easiest and most rewarding backyard project for either novice or expert woodworker to undertake.

So, how to build a gazebo properly?

A gazebo consists of these basic elements:

Footings

Corner posts
Decking or deck boards
Rafters and kingpost
Roof
Frieze panels
Railings and balustrades

Construction starts with the concrete footings, laid at the 8 points of the octagon and one at dead center. Each corner footing will have an anchor bolt set into it, and the vertical corner posts will be attached to these.

The rim joists and deck supporting frames are attached to these posts and the centre footing, checking for proper alignment constantly. After that come the decking boards, again carefully cut and fitted to make sure the cut lines are good an straight.

Make and fit the frieze panels between the upper parts of the vertical posts, and then mount the rafters at the precise angle from the post tops to the center kingpost.

Lastly build and mount the railings and balustrades - these and the frieze panels are where you can add your own touch and give the
gazebo its unique character.

All of this is simple to write but more complicated to do properly unless you have a clear picture and instructions to guide you. Virtually every part needs some sort of angle or rebate cut into it, and it is very easy to get these confused or back to front.

It is vital to use good, clear plans, instructions and comprehensive materials lists to avoid a disappointing - perhaps disastrous - result.

We have selected a great planning kit that will help you build a gazebo properly. At last count they had 23 different gazebo designs to choose from, and each one comes with full and clear drawings, notes, sketches and instructions.

In our opinion this planning kit is the best available, and will help anyone wanting to build a gazebo to a professional standard.

Why Metal Gazebos Outrank the Competition

Metal gazebos add a sense of luxuriousness to your garden. These gazebo canopies are often found at weddings, parks, and parties, but in the past few years they have become extremely popular items that you can now find in the backyards of many homes.

As the demand for metal gazebo canopies increases, different models are constantly being produced and older models are being recreated to better suit today's costumers. The result is that the market is now filled to the brim with various unique gazebo canopy designs. Due to the huge variety it is nearly impossible to not find a
metal gazebo canopy that meets your specific requirements.

While there are various materials that gazebo canopies are made out of, such as wood, metal is by far the best material to use for a gazebo canopy. While it is true that wooden gazebos are generally much more appealing to the eyes, weather makes it highly likely that you would have to replace your wooden gazebo shortly after purchasing it. The same applies to gazebos made out of material like plastic. These materials create beautiful short term canopies, but for those who want something more long term they are completely useless. Always take into account the damage that the weather might cause. It is very easy for rain to rot wood and for heavy storms to break plastic.

The positive benefits you gain from metal gazebos lie mainly in their durability. They are generally weather proof. Whether it is raining cats and dogs, snowing heavily, or there is fierce wind blowing, the chances of the metal gazebo being undamaged are extremely high. Also due to it being
metal, it is extremely difficult to break. This is a lifesaver for those of you who have children who like to run around and play in the backyard. Come rain, sleet, snow, or energetic children a metal gazebo will stand firm.

The elaborate designs that many models now possess, is guaranteed to have people talking.

Metal is extremely moldable, because of this metal gazebos have become the most improved models to date. While wooden
gazebos do look attractive, there tends to be great similarities between models because wooden is harder to use for design purposes than metal.

The two types of metal most commonly used are aluminum and iron.

Aluminum is another short term canopy, but still has a longer lifespan than wood or plastic.

While generally resistant to the weather, it is very susceptible to children. Because aluminum bends, if a child bends it the wrong way, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to return it to its original form. The best long term solution to your problems is iron. This extremely powerful metal is the best of the best in terms of overall durability.

While slightly more expensive than the other materials used, it can last an incredibly long time, which inevitably saves you the money you would have had to spend on a replacement. The only real drawback towards using iron gazebos is that they are generally a little heavier than other models. Even this slight weight difference hasn't stopped iron from being the most sought after material for gazebo canopy models. If you definitely want to save money in the long run, get a gazebo they will stand the test of time and make your friends jealous I highly recommend purchasing a
metal gazebo made from iron.

Is a Universal Gazebo Canopy a Cost Effective Solution?

An outdoor gazebo on your terrace or deck can be a big addition to your outside living space. They can offer excellent shade during the heat of the day, and offer protection from light rain as well. These elements can take a toll on your gazebo's canopy, and you may find yourself looking for a new canopy every 2 to 3 years. Ideally, you will want to find a replacement canopy that is built for your gazebo, but there are a variety of scenarios where you may want to look at a universal gazebo canopy.

Name brand replacement canopies are often more high-priced.
They may not be available for some older style gazebos.

It can be a problem to come across an exact replacement for your exact model of gazebo. Many stores normally market only the complete gazebo kits, and do not stock the replacement canopies alone. You can try to contact the company that created your gazebo, and they will often sell replacement canopies directly to consumers. This can be a concern if the owner doesn't remember what the model number is, or if they can't remember which company manufactured the gazebo. They assembled their gazebo 2 or 3 years ago, and the box and owners manual are no longer in their possession. In this situation, a universal gazebo replacement canopy can be a perfect solution.

The price of a brand new gazebo cover is another factor that may push an owner to consider a universal replacement. Replacement tops sold by the manufacturer usually carry a higher price tag than a generic top. All canopies will become weathered over time, and in time experience tearing. So a generic canopy with a lower cost can be an attractive option.

Off brand
gazebo tops may not be exact fits, but they can foot the bill. The general canopies may be a bit off of the manufacturer's specifications, but will normally fit well. The fit is often close, but not perfect. Velcro tie downs will help to fix problems with the fitting if this becomes an issue. The cloth used for a generic cover will possibly not be of the same thickness as the original. This can result in the need to exchange it more frequently. Generic canopies are usually available in usual sizes, so you may have difficulty locating a replacement if you have an non-standard size. You might have issues locating generic canopies in uncommon sizes. The common 8 foot by 8 foot, 10 foot by 10 foot, and 12 foot by 12 foot sizes are normally sold though.

Deck Gazebo - Creating an Awesome Outdoor Living Area with a Deck Gazebo

A deck is a nice place to spend time outdoors. But if you don't have a covered deck, where does that leave you to spend time outdoors on scorching hot sunny days? For many people it keeps them indoors. A deck gazebo is one solution to spending time outside on days that are too hot.

A deck gazebo is a gazebo that is built over a deck. It can be made of a fabric material on a portable metal frame, or it can be made as a permanent wood structure built directly onto the porch. Each of these deck gazebo types has its advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage of having a fabric material for a
deck gazebo covering is the fact that it can be removed to be cleaned. But on the other side, a disadvantage to this feature is the possibility of it blowing away or tearing with high winds. A gazebo on a metal frame also has the advantage of being able to be disassembled and moved to another location if desired, or being taken down to store away for the winter months of cold snowy weather.

A deck gazebo that is connected directly to the deck has the advantage of looking great. An attached deck gazebo blends in with the entire porch structure, giving it a more uniform look. Another advantage to a wood deck gazebo is the fact that you do not have to worry about it being blown over or torn by strong winds.

Whether you choose to add a portable
deck gazebo or an attached deck gazebo to your deck, either one will provide shade for your comfort during hot summer days.

Set The Tone With Wicker Patio Furniture To Match Your Wicker Gazebo

If you've been eyeing a gazebo lately, you'll be surprised to find out that it is very easy and affordable to install or build. One of the best things about a gazebo is that it can be incorporated into an existing deck or patio, or built into a new patio depending on your requirements. You'll find that prices range from $3,000 and up, depending of course on the quality, material, size and style. One of the first things you need to decide is where you're going to place your gazebo. For patios that are small to mid-size, the corner is a good choice as it is going to save you space and will be accessible enough for people to use. If you have a large patio and would like to place wicker patio furniture or teak patio furniture around it, then you can put it right in the middle! This will allow you to place your patio furniture accordingly.

When it comes to selecting the right style or design for your gazebo, make sure it matches your home, patio, and other surrounding buildings. You may even want to find one made of the same wood as your furniture, if you have teak patio furniture or cedar patio furniture. You can bolt your gazebo to the surface of the patio or cut postholes in your
patio and cement the posts into the ground. If you plan on doing this project on your own, it's best if you have good do-it-yourself skills, otherwise you may want to consider having someone install it for you.

Of course, there are easier methods of installation and you can just simply set your gazebo on top of the patio, but you want to make sure that it's heavy enough that it won't blow away. Consult with your local building center or the manufacturer to see what they recommend. If you're looking for the best freestanding gazebo available, metal or even wrought iron are your best choices. You may even be able to blend this in with your wrought iron
patio furniture. It would make a great match! Another thing, you may want to consider is patio awnings that are permanent. They can be extended from the wall and slanted downward to allow the precipitation to drain away from your gazebo. A gazebo is a great way to stay dry and keep cool during the summer!

Choosing Between Gazebo Kits And Gazebo Plans

Getting a gazebo is a terrific idea to enhance the appearance as well as providing you a stylish relax environment in your garden. It is excellent for family gathering, romantic dinner, or even quite reading place to enjoy with a cup of coffee.

After deciding to build a gazebo in your garden, now it’s time to choose between gazebo plans or gazebo kits for construction.

First let’s take a look at
gazebo plans. Most gazebo plans come with a list of materials, which often includes the exact size and numbers needed for the boards, nails, screws and hinges.

For a complete gazebo plan it comes with an actual blue print for the structure, inclusive of a detailed set of instructions for assembling, pricing information and list of major retailers that are likely to carry the needed materials.

Gazebo plans come in all sorts of variations, including octagonal and hexagonal model. Nowadays, you can choose to purchase gazebo plans online, given the multimedia options that each given program offers. Some gazebo plans sites are offering a plan for a 10-foot gazebo for as little as $20.

Gazebo kits are the most popular way people choose to build their gazebo.

Imagine, having someone come to your house and assemble a gazebo for you? It can be extremely pricey. With gazebo kit it reduced your construction cost significantly.

Whether you are looking for a nice backyard gazebo in Amish or Victorian style to place in your garden or looking for a gazebo to cover your hot tub, chances are there are gazebo kits for you.

Practically any shape or size you can imagine in a gazebo is available as a kit.

Most backyard gazebo kits are actually designed for wooden gazebos, not concrete gazebos. Wooden gazebos kits are mostly constructed from pressure treated pine wood or rock solid cedar.

Gazebos kits vary in ease-of-assembly, construction materials needed, size, building instruction quality, and price. Some of the top notch gazebo kits on the market, such as Amish-made gazebos, can run you over $10,000 for even 8 by 8 models.

It’s not difficult to build a gazebo by yourself. Choose the style that match your house and needs, and then decide on your favorite material, size and design of gazebo. And you are all ready to spend this beautiful summer building a stunning gazebo with friends and family members for a time of gathering.

Vinyl Gazebo Benefits

It’s easy to understand why people like vinyl gazebos. Although they come in only two colors, the white gazebo looks just like the wood paint on your house. The black contrasts and looks more like wrought iron. vinyl gazebos will not rot or warp like wood. Termites don’t like the vinyl either, and the vinyl does not deteriorate in harsh weather. It won’t yellow or twist or crack, and it will never lose its shape.

One of the advantages of
vinyl is that it looks like real wood without all the diffi-culties that wood brings. With wood you have to sand, stain, paint, and when the paint fades you paint year after year, depending on the weather and the sun. Every year you’ll wonder why you didn’t buy a vinyl gazebo then you’ll remember you thought it cost too much and the wood gazebo was cheaper. Now just to keep the gazebo in good condition it takes a lot of work and money.

With the vinyl gazebo, you’ll never have to paint it or stain it, and they sell them in gazebo kits with detailed instructions so you can install it yourself. They may come in only two colors; however there are dozens of styles and sizes. You will be able to install any type of roof that matches your house. vinyl gazebos do cost more, but when you consider that after they are installed the only thing you may have to do is hose it off. If it gets extremely dirty you can clean it with a mild soap, rinse and just let it dry to its original beauty.

In the long run you will be saving a great deal of money because it does not need extra upkeep. It will be a lot eas-ier on your bank account and your patience. To add individuality to your
gazebo, you can add flower pots around it and plants to make it a great addition to your garden. On the inside you’ll want comfortable seating arrangements, and a table or two. Electricity may not be an option, but you can always use solar lighting. It’s safer and easier to install.

So you’ve made your decision, now find a dealer who can either sell you the kit or do the job for you, and you will have the
gazebo ready to use while the weather is still nice. Your new durable gazebo will give you years of enjoyment, and you can always add plants or ivy to give you more privacy.

Gazebos Add Style To Any Landscape

A gazebo can be a wonderful addition to a backyard landscape, adding an aesthetic appeal as well as a comfortable relaxation spot. If you are thinking about adding a gazebo to your backyard decor, you will want to consider the location where you plan to place your new structure.

Gazebo location is going to depend to a large extent on what you are planning to use your gazebo for. Is it a garden gazebo, a gathering place for friends and family on beautiful summer afternoons? Perhaps you'll be enclosing your gazebo and installing a hot tub or spa inside of it. How you use your gazebo will determine where you should build it. A garden
gazebo might be located toward the back of your yard, in order to have friends walk through it. A hot tub shelter should probably be located closer to the door, to minimize the walk in a bathing suit.

Aesthetics are important: you may choose to highlight your structure by making it the center of attention or blend it in to your
landscape and make it a secret hideaway. You should also be mindful of the building's relation to other structures that you may have on your property.

Think about the pros and cons of your preferred site in all four seasons. The surrounding foliage (and weather) can look very different from one season to the next. All of these considerations may have some impact on where you build your
gazebo.

Choosing a size for your gazebo is the next important step. The key is to ensure that your space is large enough for its intended purposes, while remaining proportional to the surrounding environment. A general rule of thumb is that an 8' gazebo fits 2 people (2 chairs) and a small table. With every two-foot addition, two more people can be seated comfortably in the gazebo (for example, a 10' gazebo holds 4 people comfortably, a 12' gazebo holds 6 people comfortably, etc.).

Once you have decided on a size, it's a good idea to stake it out the dimensions in your yard to ensure that the fit is comfortable for your needs and that the location is harmonious with your
landscape.

Choosing a Gazebo Design That Goes With Your Home

If you are trying to decide if a gazebo design is the right for your yard or not you may want to consider a few things. First a gazebo is a pavilion style structure that is known for being in back yards, parks, community areas and gardens the world over. There are many styles to be considered when thinking about putting a gazebo in your yard. For example there are simple gazebos with just the basic ground structure and a cover and there are more complex structures to include screening and benches. Only you can decide what best fits your style and that of your home.

Decide what you hope to use the
gazebo for when deciding on the size of the gazebo design. If you plan to use it for outdoor entertaining of many people on a fairly regular basis you will want to be sure it accommodates as many as you can. Additionally, you may want to consider multiple types of seating to accommodate a large number of people. This can be tricky because gazebos are typically round in shape. You may want to consider putting additional seating around the garden area or the outside of the gazebo. If you plan to use the gazebo for special occasions consider what will be needed.

When you are working on your
gazebo design be sure to keep in mind the overall design of the house. You do not want to break from that style when working on the gazebo. You want it to compliment the house not take away from it. If your home is classic you may want to keep the gazebo old fashioned and traditional. The same applies if your home is more modern or perhaps is of a Spanish style, you will want the gazebo to reflect that same style. Planting is fairly important when working on the gazebo. Be sure you know what plants will surround the gazebo. This will help you to plan the size and shape of the gazebo better.

While you certainly can draft a design yourself, you can also find a number of terrific options on the internet to choose from. Even if you are just looking for some great ideas, there is a wealth on information online. Finding just the right gazebo for your home is important because it is the one thing in the yard that could make your neighbors and passersby say "wow look at that". Think hard about what you would envision in your yard for a gazebo next to your house and there you will have your gazebo design.

Patio Gazebos Are Here to Stay

Just thinking of the term patio gazebos, brings to mind long romantic summer afternoons, sipping cool drinks and being immersed in conversation in the cool shade on a hot summer's day. Stay even cooler under you gazebo with patio misting systems and mist or fog fans.

There is no doubt about it that
patio gazebos really do bring the indoors, outside. They can be equipped with benches, or you can furnish them with a nice patio set. In the bigger ones you can even hang your favorite hammock. Painted or natural wood, these outdoor structures enrich your outdoor living experiences and are sure to be popular with both friends and family. Together with Garden Arbors they can help and a structural beauty to your outdoor living space.

The word gazebo was coined in the 18th century to describe an outdoor shelter, usually in a garden. Although, gazebos were also popular long before that in China and Japan, and it seems the Egyptians also made use of them. On your patio, deck or garden, a
gazebo is always a perfect place to entertain or just relax and enjoy being outdoors. They can also be fun, as they are generally sold as gazebo kits.

What exactly are patio gazebos?

There does seems to be some misunderstanding as to what a gazebo actually is. So just for the record, here are some common definitions referring to gazebos.

Gazebo - A small, open-sided structure designed for sitting and taking in the view.

Gazebo - Open structure, supported by columns and covered with a column-supported roof.

Gazebo - A small structure, usually roofed and open-sided, located in gardens or parks from which one may gaze out over the surrounding grounds.

Gazebo - A freestanding, roofed, usually open-sided structure which provides a shady resting place.

Gazebo - A small lookout tower or summerhouse with a view, usually in a garden or park, but sometimes on the porch or roof of a house; also called a belvedere.

Gazebo - A small summerhouse or pavilion with a view, or a belvedere on the roof of a house.

Gazebo - A small roofed building affording shade and rest.

So, we have a small open structure with columns supporting a roof. But in all truth gazebo, can be anything from a plastic square cover supported by four corner aluminum tubes. These can often be found in camping stores, their main purpose being to supply shade on a hot sunny day. But I think most people's idea of a patio gazebo is a square or hexagonal wooden structure, with ornate side panels and a two tier roof, often with an ornamental Cupola.

Gazebo
Kits are the normal way to purchase a patio gazebo

Buying gazebo kits isn't the simplest thing in the world either. Unless assembly is included, or offered as an extra, you're going to have to get your tools out and assemble pre-cut and prepared panels yourself. If you assemble your gazebo on level terrain, the overall operation shouldn't be too traumatic. Preparing a 4-6 inch concrete base poured over gravel will make the assembly so much easier.

Most "gazebo kits" have been factory pre-assembled to guarantee workmanship. They are then dismantled for shipping purposes. All online gazebo kits come with detailed instructions for easy installation, and some even offer video instructions. So, in summary, installing patio gazebos not only adds a grand touch of style, but is also a very functional addition to your outdoor living space.

-  Name brand replacement canopies are often more high-priced.

-  They may not be available for some older style gazebos.

The price of a brand new
gazebo cover is another factor that may push an owner to consider a universal replacement.

Read This Before You Rush Out And Buy A Hot Tub Gazebo

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could own a spa that you could make use of outdoors? I don't necessarily mean totally outdoors, such as taking a bath whilst everybody's watching. What I mean is that it might be great to have an outdoor, sheltered area for it, like a hot tub gazebo. It could offer you lots of protection against the elements whilst giving you additional privacy.

Nowadays you can pick from a wide variety of different spa or hot tub gazebo
s. It truly depends on just how much money you wish to spend and what your individual style is. The following ought to give you some food for thought:-

What about a gazebo with an open top roof so you can enjoy the stars at night or perhaps a remote controlled one that allows you to close the top should the weather change. If personal privacy is not that important to you then a cheap gazebo alternative might be to have the roof with the four pillars and no enclosure. You could possibly even arrange for a
deck gazebo to be designed so that it complements the style of your home. What about gazebo kits for people who want to build a gazebo and love a bit of Do-it-yourself. The opportunities are endless.

All of these ideas revolve around the actual dimensions of the
hot tub or spa that you buy and the eventual size of the gazebo. Complete a basic draft of precisely what you envisage and line it out with strings and stakes; examine it to see if it actually meets all your expectations. Check with local zoning as well as planning county offices for zoning permits and conditions based on the area and size of the framework you have already established. Remember to enquire about home owners bi-laws and restrictions.

Nothing makes a home-owner more proud than hearing other people praise his property. When it comes to outdoor sophistication, nothing can compare to a gazebo covered hot tub or spa. Many people say that landscaping can make your garden beautiful. That's very true but beautiful is not the same as elegant. Your backyard could be the envy of your friends and neighbors if you bring this touch of class. There isn't quite anything that can make a garden perfect like a
hot tub gazebo.

The advantage of having a fabric material for a deck gazebo covering is the fact that it can be removed to be cleaned.

Another advantage to a
wood deck gazebo is the fact that you do not have to worry about it being blown over or torn by strong winds.

Whether you choose to add a portable
deck gazebo or an attached deck gazebo to your deck, either one will provide shade for your comfort during hot summer days.

When you learn how to build a gazebo, you will need to put together the frame of he deck floor first. When you have finished the base, you will then level it with patio blocks starting at the highest point. You will need one block for each corner and another one in the center. Summer Hot Tub Gazebo Kits

There are many ways to build a gazebo for your hot tub, and a hot tub gazebo kit is probably one of the easiest ways to build one. The advantages to purchasing a kit is that it provides you with the design plans and suggested materials to build the gazebo with. Other options are to design and build the covering your self, without any carpentry background, this can prove to be disastrous, structurally, and cost wise. You can also or a prefabricated kit that either you can assemble or have a contractor put together for you. Another option is to have a carpenter or contractor custom design and make for you.

The hot tub design kits available are the most cost effective. It gives you the ability to choose the materials that you want to build your gazebo out of. You can match your deck with red wood, cedar, or vinyl deck/building materials. Many hot tubs have standard sizing that makes purchasing a kit rather than a custom prefab kit available for the size you need.

If your hot tub is on your deck with ample space around it, you can purchase a gazebo kit with all the wood and hardware included. These can come in square, round or octagon shapes and fit nicely on your deck as a covering over the tub. All the wood including the roof is precut for easy assembly. You can also order benches to go inside the gazebo and get matching cushions for your other outdoor furniture.

Some other choices are using a temporarily
gazebo kit. The variety of these gazebos that are set up in the department stores, home improvement centers and wholesale stores make them a very attractive purchase. These are usually made out of wrought iron and have decorative awing, swag and covering with some type of screen netting to keep insects at a minimum. The decorative iron can be anchored to your deck for more stability. The only draw back to this type of covering is that is can be compromised in a heavy wind or rain storm so make sure you are able to remove the tarp, or canvas covering easily if you need to.

To make your choice you may first want to decide how much you want to spend on your gazebo. A custom build may run you anywhere from $5,000 to 15,000 depending on the size and materials you might choose. The design kits can run from $4-8,000 depending on the size and materials used. The temporary gazebo can start at $250 to over $1000 depending on how big and intricate the design features are. The earlier you buy in the season the better off you will be. Purchase with plenty of time to enjoy your hot tub gazebo all summer long.

Patio Gazebo - Living it Up Outside

While having a patio is a wonderful home addition, a place where you can spend good times with family and friends, unless you have some kind of cover, you are somewhat limited to how the patio can be used. As an example, while you might enjoy the warm summer months, an unprotected patio would be too hot. If the day is comfortable but rain is pouring down, you would be stuck inside. If you had the ability to set up a patio gazebo, something that would go directly on top of the existing patio to provide protection from the sun, rain, snow, or wind, would you be interested?

The patio gazebo has become a very popular solution over the past few years. These types of gazebos are very affordable and they work exceptionally well. patio gazebos are also available in a wide range of sizes, many to fit an established patio without the need for any modification. For instance, for a 10x10-foot patio gazebo would be designed with a sturdy frame consisting of four to six poles. In addition to a sturdy frame, this patio gazebo also has a waterproof canopy. Best of all,the design is a pop-up, which means you can have the
gazebo setup in just a few minutes.

With an eight-foot center and 6.5-foot corners, even your tallest guests will have plenty of headroom. Although you might initially purchase a patio gazebo for the patio, because of the mobility and flexibility, you could easily take it down and move it to the pool area or beach for a party, to the middle of the
backyard for a great place to eat, and so on. This patio gazebo is so perfect that it even comes with its own carrying bag. With it unfolding as one piece, nothing has been easier.

Probably one of the coolest new designs on the market for a patio gazebo is known as the "Instant gazebo". For this, you would have a sturdy but lightweight aluminum frame. Hooked onto that stand is the canopy, which includes netting on the side panels to help with insects. To set this patio gazebo up, you simply pull it out into the appropriate shape and in seconds, you have a 10x10-foot structure. When ready to take the gazebo down, you simply gather the canopy up, reattach, and then secure it to the frame.

Regardless of the type or size of patio gazebo you choose, there is one thing to consider. Some people will use a patio gazebo on a raised deck, which in most instances, is fine. However, remember that while the gazebo may be lightweight, if it catches any wind or caught in the rain or snow, you are now dealing with added weight. While this might not seem like much of a problem, with the patio gazebo small and the weight distributed over a restricted space, the
deck may not be able to accommodate the weight. Therefore, prior to using a patio gazebo on your deck, make sure your deck can handle any additional weight. For this, check with the gazebo manufacturer for recommendations.

You will find that
patio gazebos come in some wonderful colors and designs. For instance, a blue and white or camel and white are popular choices in that they generally complement the appearance of the home. However, you can choose from solid green, white, red, and even find some floral designs. If the gazebo will be setup only occasionally, then you could probably go a little wild on the design but if you plan to keep the patio gazebo up all year round, it would probably look best if it matches or coordinates with the style and color of the home.
